Clair Ending
The Clair ending is comprised of completing three fetch quests in order for Clair to make you an item that will get you a date. Of all the endings in the game, it is one of the easiest because the items you need to give Clair are told to you up front and it does not involve bringing Hyde into the castle.
The hint babe linked to Clair’s ending is Candice.
- After the opening conversation with Madam Appleby, head to the kitchen and talk to Gilroy.
- Pick "Did you want some help?" to help Gilroy make lunch for the guests. At the end of the conversation, he will give you the "Sandwich" he made. Yum...!
- While in the kitchen, grab the "Red Herring." You will need this later.
- Go to the dining room and grab the "Golden Saucer" off of the table. Once again, this item will be needed in later steps.
NOTE: You can also obtain the golden saucer later while doing the dishes with Gilroy. (See Gilroy steps 1-21 to reach that scene)
- Head downstairs and towards the library. Skyler will be blocking the entrance. Talk to him once and then give him the "Sandwich" in order to make him move.
- Go into the library and talk to Clair.
- Now, head outside through the courtyard to the training grounds. A cutscene will trigger where you'll be asked to help Erol get past a monster. Erol will now be following you.
- Head into the squire's dorms to trigger another cutscene.
- Give the "Red Herring" to the cat and you will acquire the "Antique Chain" and "Kitty" items. The "Kitty" has no use during this ending.
- Once you leave the squire's dorms you will be confronted by Aydin who will ask you to give him the "Antique Chain." Do NOT give the chain to Aydin or you will be unable to finish the Clair ending on this run.
- Give the "Antique Chain" to Clair and she will ask you to bring her a "Golden Saucer" which you should already have on you.
- Wait for her to walk to her new location and then give her the "Golden Saucer." Now she will ask you to fetch her parcel.
- Head to the entrance and Percival the delivery boy will now be there. Talk to him and he will give you the "Pecok Parcel."
- Go back to the library and give the "Pecok Parcel" to Clair. Clair will reveal to you that she's always had a crush on you and ask you for a date. Next, Clair will reveal to you that she is in fact a he.
- Pick "I actually thought you were a guy a bit." to trigger the ending.
